Home/Size guide
Find your fit
Five minutes with a measuring tape saves an exchange later — and you pay courier both ways on those.
The reliable method
Body measurements are a guide. Garment measurements are the truth. Take a shirt or tee you already own and like the fit of, and measure that instead of yourself.
- Lay the garment flat on a table, buttoned, with no wrinkles.
- Chest: measure straight across, one inch below the armhole, then double it.
- Length: from the highest point of the shoulder seam straight down to the hem.
- Shoulder: from one shoulder seam across the back to the other.
- Compare those three numbers with the chart and pick the closest row.
Between two sizes? Take the larger one for a relaxed fit, the smaller for a close one. For shirts you will wear tucked in, size up rather than down.
Trousers and jeans are sold by waist in inches. Measure across the waistband of a pair that fits and double it.
Size chart
All measurements in inches, garment laid flat. Allow half an inch either way.
| Size | Chest | Length | Shoulder |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 38" | 27" | 17.5" |
| M | 40" | 28" | 18.5" |
| L | 42" | 29" | 19.5" |
| XL | 44" | 30" | 20.5" |
| XXL | 46" | 31" | 21.5" |
These are our measurements for our own patterns. Do not compare them against another brand's chart.
Keeping the fit
Wash cold and inside out, dry in shade, and iron warm rather than hot. Hot water and direct sun are what shrink a cotton garment half a size and fade a dark dye — not the fabric being cheap.
